ACADEMIC CALENDER-----
Duration of Course:
The SYLLLABUS for 2 years course of each subject shall be divided into two parts namely 1st year and 2nd year carrying 100 marks each. The college will conduct one examination at the end of the 1st year class of +2 course and the Council will conduct the examination at the end of the 2nd year class of +2 course. The examination at the end of 1st year shall be for 800 marks and the examination at the end of 2nd year shall be for 600 marks covering the curriculum meant for 2nd year alone. Marks secured in the examination to be conducted at the end of the 1st year shall be considered for promotion of students to the 2nd year class. The result of a candidate will be determined only on the performance of the candidate in the Council examination to be held at the end of the 2nd year.
Environmental Education (EE) and Yoga are compulsory subjects like English and M.I.L. It will be taught only in the 1st year and the college will conduct examination for this subject at the end of the 1st year and grades will be awarded which will be reflected in the final mark sheet given by Council.
Scholarship: Scholarship is awarded to the bright and meritorious students and also to the students whose parents are in educational service.
Admission Procedure -------------
Eligibility for Admission: ---------
Students passed in H.S.C. examination conducted by the B.S.E., Odisha, I.C.S.E., C.B.S.E., or any other equivalent examinations conducted by other boards are eligible to apply for admission. A Student securing minimum 60% in HSC / CBSE / ICSE can apply for +2 Science.
How to Apply: ------------
As the department of Higher Education, Odisha has introduced e-admission for +2 Science Course, Student have to apply online through Common Application Form (CAF) available in the website of Higher Education (www.dheorisha.in) . Students can directly visit our college for detail information about E-admission and can apply through internet in our college office.
Submission of Application Forms: ----------------------
Duly filled in application forms should reach the college office within 14 days of publication of results of H.S.C. examination. The following documents are to be attached with the application form.
Attested copy of SLC / CLC.
Attested copy of Mark sheet of the qualifying exam.
Attested copy of conduct certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
Four nos. of passport size color photographs and one stamp size color photo
Migration Certificate of students passed from Board other than B.S.E., Odisha
Selection Procedure
Selection of the candidates is made purely on the basis of merit calculated from the total marks secured by a candidate in H.S.C. / C.B.S.E. / I.C.S.E. or any other equivalent examination, excluding extra optional subject, if any.
Admission Information ----------------
After the process of selection the candidate is intimated by ordinary post / phone / e-mail regarding the date, admission fees & original documents required at the time of admission. The names of the selected candidates will also be displayed on college notice board. In case of any dispute, the decision of the principal is final.
COMPETATIVE EXAM -----------------
The core issue to be addressed in the college is the convergence of our teaching in college in consonance with teaching in The Universe. The entire course is be completed in two academic sessions. In each session there will be fixed component of academic teaching (CHSE pattern) and competitive teaching (in association with The Universe)
